Solana Beach, as with most coastal communities in San Diego, is host
to a near perfect climate and it is just minutes away from some of San Diego's most beautiful beaches.

Recently, with the development of the Solana Beach exclusive, Cedros Design District, as well as a newly opened Amtrak station, you can
walk on the beach, buy a pastry, or a coffee at a local cafe and even board a train to Los Angeles....all without ever driving your car.
Like many coastal communities, Solana Beach is a wonderful blend of the old & the new, with over 70 percent of Solana Beach being built within
the last 20 years. Comprised of tract housing, golf homes (built adjacent to the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club), bungalows, condos, apartments and custom homes with
breathtaking ocean views.
5 miles north of San Diego, located on the Pacific shoreline, is the lovely community of Encinitas. Considered by many to
be the surfing Capital of California, this community has been home to surfboard makers since the early 1960s. The coastal community consists
of mostly old & new custom homes, many facing a picturesque ocean view.
Encinitas is also home to the famous Ecke Poinsettia Ranch.
In addition,
Encinitas comes in a variety of real estate from lovely cottages, bungalows, condos, apartments and even mobile home parks. The area considered to
be New Encinitas, is located inland east of I-5 and consists of mostly tract housing which includes detached, townhomes, condominiums, apartments and single family homes.

Encinitas also has a developed commercial area that attracts local shoppers from neighboring communities. Olivenhain, a historic township located in the
upper eastern section of

one of the more presitgious north coastal communities. Olivenhain, Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Leucadia all incorporated as a city in
1986, but each community continues to maintain their distintive character.
