The Return of Home Seller Financing is seen
The topic of home seller financing is becoming more of a topic of discussion during possible transactions of real estate. Sellers are becoming more willing to work with buyers that are unable to meet the regular requirements of a typical mortgage lender. Property owners are becoming more apt to the negotiation of the terms of their contracts in order to close the deal.

Seller financing became popular during the late '70's and early '80's when interest rates were in the teens. Seller financing is when the seller finances all or part of a home sale. In today's market, high priced residential real estate threatens to keep a lot of prospective buyers from entering the market.

Concerns regarding these types of transactions revolve around the seller's financial stability. Home owners that hold additional assets are less likely to be wiped out financially if the buyer becomes delinquent on their loan.
