California Foreclosures show Slight Decrease
The real-estate data firm Realty-Trac has reported that home foreclosures fell slightly in April from a 2-year high which was set in March.
Even though the overall total had decreased 1% from March 2007, the total number of foreclosures was up 62% from 2006.
The States reporting the highest amount of foreclosures were Colorado, Nevada, California, Ohio, Illinois,
Connecticut, Michigan, Arizona and Florida. The state of California reported the highest number of foreclosures - 30,505, which is down 3% from March figures.
