Real Estate Shows Red Hot On Cable Television
The real life real estate market may be a bit slow these days, but not on TV. Real Estate shows on Cable television are extremely popular.
Four of the hottest programs are "Bought & Sold" on HGTV, follows Essex County, New Jersey real estate agents. "Real Estate Pros" covers the adventures of South Carolina Real Estate Developer Richard Davis and his team. The show premiered April 21 on TLC. Another show, "Flip This House", on A&E is now in its third season. "Property Ladder" on TLC will start its 3rd season on July 14.

Other popular choices on Cable TV include: "Sell This House", "My House is Worth What? ", "House Hunters International", "Fantasy Open House" and "Buy Me".

Richard Davis of the show "Real Estate Pros" sites the success of these shows on the fact that real estate ownership is the American Dream.

Real estate professionals and viewers alike may wonder if the situations in the shows are made for TV. Davis states that his shows are real and absolutely not scripted.
