Real Estate Advertising Less in Newspapers
Analysts say that real estate advertisements will become less prevalent in local newspapers as more companies opt to use the World Wide Web.
Online advertising currently makes up around 20% of all ads. Analysts believe that number will grow for a number of reasons.

Prudential Real Estate Affiliates reports that many of their practitioners have been cutting back on their print advertising and opting to budget more for Web ads and creating real estate blogs. Many industry professionals believe that the Web is the advertising vehicle of the future.

It is not that Web advertising costs less than print; ads on the Web offer up a much wider variety of information. Ads may include color photographs, video tours, lengthily descriptions and links to other sites.
