Home Sales and Values Continue to Climb in San Diego
Home prices and sales increased in San Diego County last month, according to a report issued Thursday by real estate data tracker CoreLogic. According to the report, the median price for homes sold in San Diego County in June was $476,000, up 5.8 percent from June 2014. That median was based on a total of 4,467 homes sold in the County in June, which represents a surge of 20.8 percent from the 3,698 homes sold in the same month a year ago. That trend holds true for the broader six-county Southern California region, as well, as both sales and prices increased significantly on a year-over-year basis. Sales across the Southland reached a new post-recession high, in fact, and posted their biggest year-over-year jump in almost three years.
