San Diego Named Sixth Best City To Live
San Diego was named the sixth-best large US city to live in this week by the financial advice website WalletHub. The survey looked at cities with populations of more than 300,000 across the US, and ranked them from 1 to 62. A total of 31 metrics were used to give scores in four major categories: livability, education, health and local economy & taxes. San Diego was ranked 3rd in education, 5th in livability, and 8th in health, but was behind 32 other cities in the economy and taxes category. San Diego was edged out in the overall ranking by Austin TX, Raleigh NC, Colorado Springs, San Jose and Seattle. Ranked as the worst large city to live in was Detroit, followed by Memphis, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Indianapolis. WalletHub noted that the rankings only looked at conditions within city limits, so life in the suburbs was not considered. To check out the entire list, with category rankings, Click Here.
