Home Builders Display a Rise in confidence in Market
The National Association of Home Builders reports that it has seen a decrease in its member's confidence in the market fall for 8 consecutive months to a rating of 30; the lowest rating in 15 years.


Things began to change at the start of October. At that point the confidence rating index went up to 31, and has hit 33 this month. The index peaked at a rating of 72 in June of 2005, and was reported at 61 in November of last year.

The NAHB reports that more and more of their members are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Builders are starting to see a leveling-off of the recent downward trends towards a more stabilized market. The NAHB anticipates sales to gradually improve in the coming months.
