The headline of NAR's first newsprint ad blitz has a headline which reads: It's a great time to buy or sell a home" to lead off the advertisement.
Key points of the ad include:
- Interest rates are close to a forty-year low, and have dropped seven for seven consecutive months.
- Existing home inventory are at the highest levels on more than 10 years.
- The prices of homes are stabilizing.
Buying conditions are subject to changes as sales and prices increase, and the market for sellers improves.
The ads ran Friday, November 3 in USA Today and the Wall Street Journal and ran Sunday, November 5 in the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and the Washington Post. The ads will run a second time on November 10th and 12th.
NAR members are being urged to include this message as part of their individual advertising.
