Calabrese informed the Board that the intended vote that was scheduled as part of the meeting could not take place until the Board completed a form which disclosed certain financial information to the general public. In November of this year, the watchdog organization La Jollans for Clean Government sent a letter to the Board asking them to file a Statement of Economic Interest. The Board had previously asked the City Attorney's Office for advice on the matter, as form SEI 700 is not tailored to smaller, volunteer boards. The City Attorney's Office replied that the form could be tailored to the Board, and it has been done in previous situations, but that the process could take up to two months to complete. The Board has yet to receive the new forms, and no business may be conducted until they are in full compliance with the code and financial disclosures.
The meeting continued, largely with members of the public taking turns speaking out against paid on-street parking. The Board plans to meet in January to discuss the financial disclosures.
