UCSD Makes National Best Value List
La Jolla: UCSD (University of California San Diego) has been ranked 11th on a national listing of the 100 best values in public universities, in a report published January 7, 2008.
The listing was compiled by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine. The list highlights the 100 public colleges that exemplify excellence in academics while also remaining successful at keeping their individual in-state and out-of-state costs down.

UCSD was one of 11 California colleges to be included in the top 100 list. Other schools included UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis and UC Riverside.

The top100 listing has been published by Kiplinger's since 1998. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has topped the list for the past seven years.
