Here are some facts about the San Diego real estate market that do not always get publicized. The last thirty years has seen the median home price, of existing homes, increase over 5 percent every year and tge value of a home almost double every decade.
The predictions for the 2008 San Diego housing market is that it will be the 5th best year the market have ever seen. The National Association of Realtors is predicting almost a 2% decrease in prices nationally, which by the way the press continually releases negative articles, you would think prices were predicted to fall 50%. 2% is nothing to a homeowner that plans to stay in their home for awhile. Experts predict that if you buy a home in La Jolla now, 10 years from now you are going to double your money.
