Del Mar Home Sales for January 2008
One thing you can count on is the fact that Del Mar real estate will always have an average selling price of over a million dollars. In the first month of 2008 seven homes sold in Del Mar with an Avg SP. of more than $1.8 million. There were twenty new homes listed on the Del Mar real estate market for the month at an Avg LP of over $2 million.
The lowest priced home sold in Del Mar for January went for $975,888. The sellers were entertaining offers between $885,000 to $975,888 and in a rare occurence these days, the buyer bought it for full price. This homes was built in 1991 and is a 2 story with nearly 3999 sq ft of room. It was a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath with an stucco exterior and Plantation Shutters, Hardwood & Marble Tile Flooring and even had an ocean view. What a great find.

The winner of the most expensive Del Mar home sold in January went for an even $3 million. It was originally listed and almost $3.3 million, then was listed at $3 million and once again we see a full price offer from the buyer. I'm beginning to think, only in Del Mar, right? This home, without a doubt, is amazing. It is a 4 bedroom, 4.5 baths, over 4500 sqft, built in 2007 and is a 3 story Del Mar home with an ocean view. There are also two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. The exterior of the home is stucoo and the flooring is hardwood / slab.

The other homes sold in January where fairly consistent when it came to matching the listing price with the selling price. Some of them were under the listing price, but not by much. See you tomorrow.
