Comparison of La Jolla Condo Sales in March
Condo sales in La Jolla were down this March compared to the last four years. The highest amount of condos in escrow happened in 2005 with 22 condos, which resulted in 22 condo sales. The average price for a condo sold in the month of March for 2005 was $843,500 and over $18 million in total sales.
2006 saw an slight decrease in actual sales with 20 La Jolla condos sold for the month. However, the average price increase to over $1 million.

Then in 2007, the number of pending transactions increased to 21 condos with an average of nearly $1.2 million. The number fell quite a bit to 15 condos that actually sold for the month in La Jolla. The average sales price was right at a million dollars and totalling over $20 million dollars.

Although the average price for a condo sold, in La Jolla in 2008, increased to it highest level, in the four year comparison, actual condo sales were the lowest they have been, with only 11 sold for the month.
