La Jolla Condo Sales Report for March 2008
There was quite an abundance of condos added to the La Jolla real estate market during the month of March. A total of 53 new listings averaging over $880,000 for a listing price. Condo sales in La Jolla were much less, with only 17 sold for the month.
You may not have thought it was possible, but someone in La Jolla actually paid less than $300,000 for their condo. That kind of money generally doesn't go too far in La Jolla. This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 story condo and is only 700 sqft. The place does have a view of the hills and the kitchen is equipped with granite counters. Other highlights include berber carpet and marble flooring. The place was originally listed at $310,000, later changed to $299,000 to $310,000 and finally settled on $285,000.

Next on the list is a condo in La Jolla that sold for $360,000 and it has over 1000 sqft and has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. This condo also has granite counters and a lovely private balcony. Originally priced at $369,000.

The most expensive condo sold in La Jolla, in the month of March, sold for almost $2.2 million. Once you hit this price range, you are almost guaranteed an ocean view. This condo is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 3 story and is over 2500 sqft. The original listing price for this condo was $2,250,000.
