Pacific Beach Homes Sales Update
Pacific Beach home sales for March 2008 totaled 10 sales averaging nearly $900,000 per home sold. Listing were up with 38 total, at an average of $934,194.
Quite encouraging to know that you can live in a home, more than 1000 sqft, in Pacific Beach, for $600,000. To some that may sound ridiculous, but for those who have been in California for some time, it actually sounds reasonable. In addition, it is also in the lovely beach community of Pacific Beach. The home was actually a total of 1,057 sqft on a 6,200 sqft lot. The home was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, stucco home, built in 1942. The original listing price was $760,000, later reduced to $625,000 to $650,000 and a said previously, sold for $600,000.

For less than $1.2 million you could have owned a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 889 sqft home, with an ocean view...location is everything, right? This home was built in 1937 and is on a 1,350 sqft lot. The home had a stucco exterior and the plans for the home were designed by award winning architect Tim Golba.
