The home that sold for the smallest amount went for an uncommon amount of $695,000. You almost never hear of a home in La Jolla
selling for that price. The home was a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1,385 sqft and sat on a lot of over 14,000 sqft. The reason for the
low price was the properties location on Mount Soledad and its proximity to the "natural hazard zone". The hazard being that the
house may have a tendency to slide as some of the home atop Mount Soledad did several months ago. The home was originally
listed at $735,876 and later changed to $665,000 - $735,876.
The next home up on the list sold for over $900,000 and then in true La Jolla fashion, everything else sold for
over a million dollars. Seven homes sold for over 2 million dollars.
Even though two homes sold for over 5 million dollars, the highest on the list sold for its listing price of $5,500,000. This
was a 6 bedroom, 7 bath La Jolla dream home. It was a 2 story, over 4,000 sqft home on over 10,000 sqft of land. As most homes
sold at this price in La Jolla, this home has a view of the ocean.
