La Jolla Local News
Not much going on in the land of La Jolla this week. Well, I thought I should start it out with a joke. Of course there is this little event called the U.S. Open happening, but who noticed. I have already written too many blogs about the Open, so I am going to offer a little tidbit of news for the parents and kids who call La Jolla home.
This week the La Jolla Pee Wee hockey team, the La Jolla Jaguars, have name Grecia Bocharov as their new head coach. Grecia has years of teaching experience. Originally from Russia, Grecia has coached teams like the Desert Coyotes and our very own San Diego Gulls. Grecia was taught by Russian great Anatoly Tarasov, who is in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The coach will at least be in La Jolla for a year and if all goes well, maybe longer.
