Safety Tips for La Jolla Beachgoers
With so many people heading to the beaches in La Jolla, we thought it might be helpful to post some safety tips. If you are venturing out into the ocean, first off, make sure that you are a good swimmer. Just as important, always have a companion with you when you are swimming or playing in the water. One of the major causes of death are from people who decided to swim out alone.
As many times as you have probably heard it, it never hurts to say it again. It is never a good idea to mix booze and swimming. Alcohol can cause a person to make bad judgements and, in addition, decreases your ability to keep your body warm.

Even though La Jolla is not known for its rain or lightning, I have seen it before. Keep up with l ocal weather reports and never swim in bad weather.
