La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club Event
Las Patronas, a volunteer philanthropic group, threw an event at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, a week ago, celebrating the Jazz Age. People dressed as several famous faces from the 20's such as Charlie Chaplin. There was live music, dancers performing classics such as the Charleston, all in front of a NYC skyline mural.
This event was really planned and no details were left out. When the actors such as Chaplin appeared, the camera bulbs started flashing, classic cars from the 20's arrived and although Prohibition was in full effect during this time period, the drinks were pouring on this night.

The Hyatt Regency in La Jolla provided dinners for the guests. Once again, La Jolla always seems to reveal itself in such wonderful ways. I feel lucky to be a part of the community.
