30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates are Rising
Interest rates on both 30 year and 1 year mortgages increased this past week. Rates on other loans did not see any change.
30 year, fixed rate mortgages increased from 6.14% up to 6.17%. This is the highest rate since the week of November 21, when the rate reached 6.20%.
One year ARMs increased from 5.51% up to 5.53%. 15-year fixed mortgages held steady at 5.79%. 5 year ARMs held at 5.90%.
