Rare Blue Whale Washes Up in La Jolla
The dead body of a blue whale was discovered on Fiesta Island. The whale was about to begin drifting to La Jolla, but the body was towed away before it could do that. The body was already beginning to smell before it was hauled up on the beach using a giant net.
