A Website recently conducted a survey which found that upwards of seventy-five percent of Americans surveyed continue to view homeownership as an integral and important aspect of achieving their individual "American Dreams".
Of those Americans surveyed, more than fifty-percent agree with President Obama's focus on job creation and job security as a major factor in the overall stabilization of the troubled housing market.
Additional findings of note are:
Seven percent feel that it is key for President Obama to keep loan interest rates low.
Five percent believe that additional economic incentives need to be made available to prospective homeowners.
Twenty-one percent feel that it is smart to reduce the number of foreclosures taking place.
Six percent are of the belief that there is nothing that the President can do that will help to stabilize the housing market.
As a whole, almost thirty-percent of Americans surveyed feel that the housing market will experience improvement throughout this year. Of the Democrats polled, forty-seven percent fell that the housing market will experience improvement throughout this year, while only ten percent of Republicans polled see any improvement in this year.
Upwards of fourteen thousand homeowners and six hundred renters participated in the survey.
