Friends of La Jolla Shores Organizes Community Playground Build
The Friends of La Jolla Shores has organized a Playground Community build which will take place April 30 - May 2.
The organization needs help with the construction of a new Junior Lifeguard-themed playground. The new playground will be built entirely from neighborhood donations.

Nearly one year ago, the city of San Diego removed previous playground equipment which was deemed unsafe, without the installation of any replacement equipment for kids' to enjoy.

The new equipment has already been delivered and is set for installation. The new play area will also feature art panels. The new equipment features slides for both older and younger children and bridges. The art panels will feature safety tips for being safe while swimming in the ocean.

Adults and teens are welcome to help.
