Less People Defaulting on Property Taxes in San Diego
Here is a bit of good news. As the economy begins to show some signs of getting better, it appears that San Diego homeowners are also. The latest report shows
that there a less San Diego residents defaulting on their property taxes.
The latest numbers reported by the treasurer-tax collector shows that 3.7 defaulted as of the first of last month, while 3.8 defaulted the previous year.
One reason maybe that many home values were reassessed by the city and lower values mean less taxes. Either way, any good news is great news at this point.
