Xanadu Comes to La Jolla
I wrote a blog about this awhile ago because there was a time in my life that I really loved the music from Xanadu. In the previous blog, I talked about the production coming to La Jolla. Well, the time has come. On Nov. 23rd, Xanadu will makes its premiere at the La Jolla Playhouse.
Now some of you may be thinking about how bad the movie was and how good the soundtrack was, but to ease your mind, the production has been morphed into something great by director Christopher Ashley and writer Douglas Beane.

This production of Xanadu has already won the 2008 Outer Critics Award for Best Broadway Musical and has been nominated four times in 2008 for a Tony Award. If you live in La Jolla and have time, make sure to support local theatre and the La Jolla Playhouse.
