San Diego Real Estate Market Report
The real estate market is can be very confusing in a changing market. Our news coverage is so good now that we can hear about national, statewide and local news all within a half hour.
The low interest rates, low down payment FHA loans and the tax credit for new buyers have created a very active market for entry level homes. These properties are often selling within a few days with multiple offers.

Detached home sales were up 1.6 percent in November for the 2nd consecutive month. If we look at the sales since the first of the year the detached home sales were up 13.8 percent and attached home sales were up 14.4 percent since the beginning of the year.

Listing price vs. sale price ratio is 99.6% for detached homes and attached is 100.5%.
