PRICES OF HOMES IN SAN DIEGO ON UPWARD TREND
While sales of houses in San Diego County edged downward a bit last month when contrasted with February, 2009, the price of homes were up by 13% for the same period.
There were just over 2,450 homes that were sold in the county during February, with only a few more sold during the same month a year ago. Last months' median price for a home in the county was just above $320,000, which is higher than the slightly over $300,000 median the preceding month and just above $283,000 in February of 2009.

With low home prices and home buyers making use of the low interest rates and tax credits, last months' sales passed the levels of a year ago for the twentieth successive month. This is a great time to buy, as the cost of owning a home is at its' lowest level in many years.
