RESEARCHERS BELIEVE QUICK RECOVERY POSSIBLE
Despite the belief of some analysts that the economic recovery will be a drawn-out process, in San Francisco, Federal Reserve Bank researchers say that they believe the recovery will be a rather speedy one.

Referring to increases in business as well as consumer spending, the economists say that a revival of the economy may well happen much sooner than in the two prior recessions.

During the first quarter of this year, the amount of money spent for equipment and software was greater by ten percent compared to the same time frame of 2009. Managers of purchasing departments also said that spending is higher this year than last. People are beginning to purchase houses, cars, clothing, etc. In fact retail sales in the country showed the largest increase this past March than in the preceding four months.

While many people have been cutting back over the past two years or so, sooner or later things need to be replaced. This is an expected part of the progression.

I suppose that we'll all just have to wait and see what happens.
