How unique can a Real Estate market be?
"The Market" is Awful! "The Market is Great! It may depend on so many differing factors that to generalize is to be wrong.

In several communities in San Diego there is less than 4 months of inventory, with the good homes being snapped up within a week of the time that they are listed for sale. There are also communities within San Diego where there is a 4 year inventory.

Much of this difference of course is due to price. Less expensive (under $500,000) are almost hard to find. Expensive Luxury homes are moving very slowly. Location always impacts home prices. Financing has recently had a heavy impact upon home sales, and then there are always the seasonal variances.

Check with a professional in the specific market area you are most interested in whether it be to sell a La Jolla Luxury home or very small inexpensive condo the Ruth Mills Team has a local area expert that can give you a break down on localized San Diego real estate market conditions, and send you a report on Rancho Bernardo or Scripps Ranch to San Diego's North county areas including the Coastal communities from Oceanside and Carlsbad to Del Mar and La Jolla, Pt. Loma, Downtown San Diego, Coronado all the way to Imperial Beach.

Information is your best tool for finding the right home in any "Market".
