A New web cam in La Jolla!
There is a new place to watch La Jolla on your computer monitor. If you are a diver or fisherman in the San Diego or La Jolla area you are familiar with the La Jolla Kelp Forest in the La Jolla Preserve just off the cove. It is a great spot for the sport fishing day trip boats and for divers to investigate many species of Pacific Ocean sea life.

When visitors come to San Diego now they are able to visit Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute UCSD, and see what the living kelp bed looks like, and now if you want to investigate the La Jolla Kelp forest you can log on to
http://aquarium.ucsd.edu/Education/Learning_Resources/Kelp_Cam .

You can also see a diver show and watch a diver feed and describe the animals several times a week (time are posted on the web site). La Jolla is often the visitor's destination but the Aquarium is close enough to Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Downtown San Diego or Carlsbad that it can easily be included in to a day trip spent in San Diego.
